I have been following this story and I have to say, WOW. How has this gone on for so long? How many scared people are walking around from being subjected to humiliation? I don’t even know what to say. Mr Abbott’s response was, as always, confirmation that he is not fit to be the Prime Minister of Australia. To smirk and then say “and I don’t want to make light of bad behaviour” show’s that hypocrisy is possible in one sentence. They forced a girl to drink poison and when she had to go to hospital, they lied. Sound familiar? The first question that came to mind was “What did you do to first years when you were in your senior year?” I’m not entirely sure I want to know the answer that. Surely a person who punches walls near peoples heads to intimidate them wouldn’t be above humiliating first years? Hash-tag Just Sayin’
I hope those who are genuine victims of this grotesque behaviour find the strength to stand up and sue St John’s (or the Catholic Church) for emotional damages. What has been going on behind the stone walls of St John’s College? I guess time will only tell.
Thanks for listening
